DOMESTIC ABUSE is a pattern of behavior that seeks to

ü Isolation, prohibits contact with family and/or friends.
ü Verbal and emotional abuse (name calling, insulting, ignoring, humiliating, harassing or intimidating)
ü Economical abuse - controls access to money and other resources.
ü Threats to or about the children (or pets).
ü Physical abuse (hitting, kicking, pushing, choking, biting, tripping, throwing or restraining).
ü Sexual Abuse - unwanted sex, refusal to practice safe sex.
ü Constant criticism or humiliation of partner, blaming them for no reason.
ü Obsessive jealousy - may lie to manipulate and punishes significant other when they are angry.

Safe Haven Free emergency shelter for you and your Children in a safe non-violent setting.
Hotline Certified advocates provide intervention and information/referral 24 hours a day.
Crime Victim Compensation Fund These funds are available to eligible victims of crime. It can pay for medical expenses, mental health counseling, lost wages, funeral expenses and loss of support for victim's dependents.
Safety Planning Leaving is always dangerous. Safely leaving is the goal. Call C.A.R.E. to helpyou plan to leave, or to help you stay home and stay safe.
Criminal Justice Advocacy Professional Advocates guides and assists victims and survivors of robbery, DUI, assault, homicide and other violent crimes through the judicial process.
Counseling Individual and group counseling for all those affected by domestic abuse and sexual abuse.
Legal Assistance for Victims Free legal assistance may be available if you are a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking.
