C.A.R.E., along with our partners, host several events throughout the year to support our mission to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes in Charlotte County.
Join us at LMCU located at 2120 Kings Hwy. to learn about the different ways people can use to find and stalk you, and how to protect yourself. Snacks will be provided. Join the C.A.R.E. Auxiliary Society on Tuesday, November 10 starting at noon for our annual Friendsgiving Luncheon & Basket Raffle at the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club benefiting The Center for Abuse & Rape Emergencies. Tickets are $40 each and includes lunch.
There will be basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Basket raffle tickets will be 10 for $20 or 30 for $50. The 50/50 tickets will be 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Both will be for sale the day of the event. We hope you can join us!
Save the date! Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Cars for C.A.R.E. to be held Sunday, November 15 at the Harbor Event Center located at 75 Taylor St. in Punta Gorda. We ask that you bring a $20 donation if you’d like your car, truck, motorcycle, etc. in the show. The event is free to the public for viewing. All proceeds to benefit the C.A.R.E. child care center. We hope you can join us!
Join us for our first Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 5 at the Sons & Daughters of Italy located at 3725 Easy St. in Port Charlotte. We’re planning a festive celebration to bring our community together while supporting C.A.R.E. and the survivors we serve throughout Charlotte County.
Take part in craft stations, enjoy a breakfast buffet, and get your photo taken with Santa.
Kids ages 11 and under are FREE with a gently used shoe donation; ages 12 and older are $10 per person. We hope you can join us!
